ICare Group is currently recruiting compassionate and dedicated Female Home Care Workers to join its growing domiciliary care team across the Sefton area. Key Responsibilities

  • Provide personal care support including washing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
  • Assist clients with daily living activities and household tasks
  • Support meal preparation and hydration needs
  • Provide medication reminders in accordance with care plans
  • Conduct regular wellbeing and safety checks for service users
  • Offer companionship and emotional support to clients
  • Maintain accurate care records and report concerns appropriately
  • Follow individual care plans, safeguarding procedures, and company policies
  • Travel between client homes across the Sefton area
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues, families, and healthcare professionals

Candidate Requirements

Required

  • Female applicant due to occupational requirements related to personal care
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Access to your own vehicle with business insurance
  • Ability to travel reliably across the Sefton area
  • Compassionate, patient, and reliable approach to care
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Flexibility to work shifts between Monday and Sunday, 7am–10pm
  • Willingness to complete background and safeguarding checks
  • Right to work in the UK or eligibility for sponsorship consideration

Preferred

  • Previous experience in domiciliary care, home care, or support work
  • Understanding of safeguarding and person-centred care practices
  • Care Certificate or relevant health and social care qualifications
  • Experience supporting elderly or vulnerable individuals
  • Confidence working independently within the community
