About the Role

BAO Corps is seeking a highly skilled Product Engineer to work directly with the founder on building and scaling internal and client‑facing systems. This is a contract role offering ₦600,000–₦800,000 per month, with remote work flexibility.

This is not a role for beginners or ticket‑driven developers. You will be expected to own problems end‑to‑end, design solutions, and execute at a high level. If you thrive in fast‑moving, sometimes unstructured environments and enjoy solving complex system challenges, this role is for you.

Key Responsibilities

• Take ownership of product features from idea → design → implementation.
• Translate real‑world business processes into scalable systems.
• Design and evolve database structures and system architecture.
• Build and improve backend and frontend components.
• Handle integrations with third‑party services (payments, APIs, etc.).
• Optimize performance, reliability, and system structure.
• Work closely with the founder to make product decisions and improvements.
• Debug complex issues across the system when they arise.

Candidate Requirements

Core Requirements

• Strong experience in full‑stack development.
• Solid understanding of system design and architecture.
• Ability to think independently and solve problems without constant guidance.
