About the Role

ARDENT TALENT RECRUITERS is seeking an experienced and results-driven Remote Product Owner to lead the development and continuous improvement of a growing SaaS platform. Key Responsibilities

• Own, manage, and prioritise the product backlog based on business goals and user feedback
• Translate product roadmap objectives into detailed technical user stories and acceptance criteria
• Lead Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, backlog grooming, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives
• Collaborate with engineering, QA, marketing, customer support, and leadership teams
• Define SaaS platform requirements including onboarding, billing, subscriptions, and integrations
• Monitor sprint deliverables and approve completed work based on definition-of-done standards
• Use analytics tools such as Jira, Mixpanel, and Google Analytics to evaluate product performance
• Track feature adoption, customer engagement, and churn metrics to guide product improvements
• Identify process gaps and implement scalable product management solutions
• Ensure communication between technical and non-technical stakeholders remains clear and effective
• Support long-term product growth through strategic feature planning and execution

Candidate Requirements

Required

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field
• 3–5 years of experience as a Product Owner or Product Manager within a SaaS environment
• Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC)
• Solid knowledge of APIs and SaaS architecture
• Hands-on experience with Agile and Scrum methodologies
• Proficiency with Jira (mandatory)
• Experience using Confluence, Trello, or related project management tools
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently within a remote team environment
• Excellent problem-solving and organisational abilities
• Ownership mindset with accountability for outcomes and product success

Preferred

• Experience launching SaaS product features from concept to deployment
• Familiarity with analytics and customer behaviour tracking tools
• Previous experience working with distributed engineering teams
