Are you an experienced marketing analytics professional looking for a fully remote opportunity with a global technology company? Supabase is hiring a Senior Data Analyst – Marketing to join its Data Intelligence team and help build the measurement foundation behind its paid and product-led growth (PLG) channels.
This role is focused on helping Marketing and Growth teams move beyond platform-reported metrics and vanity numbers to develop trusted, data-driven insights into what actually drives pipeline, revenue and growth efficiency.
About Supabase
Supabase is a Postgres development platform built for developers. The company provides a complete backend solution that includes Database, Auth, Storage, Edge Functions, Realtime and Vector Search.
Its products are deeply integrated and designed to help developers and businesses build and scale applications.

About the Senior Data Analyst – Marketing Role
The Senior Data Analyst – Marketing will join Supabase's Data Intelligence team and take ownership of marketing measurement across paid and PLG channels.
The successful candidate will work closely with Marketing, Growth and channel teams to answer important business questions around marketing effectiveness, attribution, experimentation, pipeline, revenue and investment efficiency.
The role is particularly suited to someone who enjoys working independently in a fast-paced environment, uses AI tools as part of their daily workflow and is excited about building a marketing measurement function from the ground up.
Key Responsibilities
Marketing Measurement Strategy
The Senior Data Analyst will be responsible for developing and managing the company's marketing measurement strategy.
Key responsibilities include:
- Owning the end-to-end marketing measurement strategy across experimentation, media mix modeling and attribution for paid and PLG channels.
- Establishing and evolving the attribution framework used to connect platform data, multi-touch attribution, media mix modeling and experiments.
- Translating complex measurement results into practical recommendations around investment, budget reductions and growth opportunities.
- Helping teams make decisions around pipeline, revenue and efficiency metrics such as CAC, payback period and LTV-to-CAC.
- Serving as a subject matter expert on marketing measurement.
- Educating stakeholders about causality, model uncertainty and the limitations of platform-reported metrics.
Incrementality and Experimentation
The role will involve designing and analyzing experiments to determine the true incremental impact of marketing activities.
Responsibilities include:
- Designing and running ongoing incrementality tests at both user and geographic levels.
- Measuring incremental lift, incrementality percentage and incremental ROAS/CPA.
- Using experiment results to guide marketing budget allocation.
- Creating repeatable analysis templates and playbooks for experiment design, analysis and reporting.
- Working with channel owners across paid search, paid social, lifecycle marketing, website and SEO.
- Developing and prioritizing an experimentation roadmap.
- Integrating experimentation into campaign planning, creative testing and audience strategy.
Media Mix Modeling and Forecasting
The successful candidate will also contribute to media mix modeling and marketing forecasting.
This includes:
- Building and maintaining media mix models using historical marketing data.
- Estimating channel contribution, marginal returns and optimal budget allocation.
- Accounting for seasonality, adstock and saturation effects.
- Validating model performance through backtesting.
- Comparing media mix modeling results with experiment findings.
- Creating budget scenarios and forecasts across channels and regions.
- Communicating modeling insights in a way that non-technical stakeholders can easily understand and act upon.
Data Integrity and Analytics Tooling
The Senior Data Analyst will help marketing teams develop reliable self-service analytics capabilities.
Responsibilities include:
- Developing clear metric definitions and model documentation.
- Creating reusable analysis frameworks and patterns.
- Helping marketing teams perform accurate self-service analytics.
- Using AI tools to accelerate analysis and explore insights beyond traditional analyst workflows.
- Helping establish AI-forward practices across the marketing organization.
- Identifying gaps and inconsistencies in marketing data.
- Investigating issues involving tracking, marketing spend and platform exports.
- Working with relevant teams to resolve data problems at their source rather than applying downstream fixes.
Eligibility Requirements
Candidates should have:
- At least 6 years of experience in marketing analytics, data science or a related field.
- Experience focused on performance marketing and/or product-led growth.
- Advanced SQL skills.
- Proficiency in at least one statistical programming language, such as Python or R.
- Strong knowledge of marketing attribution, incrementality testing and media mix modeling.
- Hands-on experience designing, running and interpreting experiments across digital marketing channels.
- Experience with channels such as search, social, display, email or in-product marketing.
- Experience building or working closely with media mix models and/or advanced attribution models.
- Strong understanding of growth metrics including CAC, LTV, payback period, conversion rates and funnel performance.
- Strong analytical and business judgment.
- Ability to build scalable self-service analytics tools and frameworks.
- Ability to communicate technical and analytical concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience working independently in asynchronous and autonomous environments.
- An AI-forward approach to analytics and data work.
Preferred Qualifications
The following experience would be an advantage:
- Experience working in BaaS, DevRel or open-source developer tools companies.
- Experience connecting marketing investment with pipeline and revenue outcomes.
- Experience with applied econometrics.
- Knowledge of time-series modeling.
- Experience with Bayesian methods for media mix modeling and experimentation.
- Familiarity with Google Ads, Meta, LinkedIn and other digital advertising platforms.
- Experience with web analytics platforms.
- Familiarity with CDPs.
- Experience using BI and data visualization tools.
Skills and Experience
This position requires a combination of technical analytics expertise, marketing knowledge and strong communication skills.
The ideal candidate should be comfortable working with statistical models and experimentation while also being able to explain the business implications of their findings.
