Purpose of the Role

Pets at Home is seeking a passionate Store Manager to lead its Huddersfield team. You’ll oversee daily operations, drive performance, and create a vibrant, customer-focused environment that reflects the brand’s mission to be the Best Pet Care Business in the World.

Key Responsibilities

Manage all aspects of store operations, including stock control and standards
Lead and motivate a team of 10+ to exceed KPIs and sales targets
Foster a fun, inclusive, and high-performing workplace culture
Ensure health and safety compliance across the store
Deliver exceptional customer service and pet care experiences

Skills, Experience & Qualifications

Required:

Minimum 2 years’ retail management experience
Proven ability to lead in a fast-paced environment
Strong communication and leadership skills
Flexibility to work a 7-day shift pattern, including weekends and holidays
Willingness to complete 6 months of training in customer service, pet care, and health & safety
