Remote Customer Success Manager (AMER)

Camunda counts 9 of the top 10 US banks among its 700+ enterprise customers, and it's hiring a Customer Success Manager for its Americas (AMER) region to manage a portfolio of those enterprise accounts end-to-end — from onboarding through renewal. The role pays $119,600 to $192,800 a year in Total Target Cash (base plus 100% variable target where applicable), fully remote.

One thing to sort out before applying: the listing's compensation table shows figures for the US, UK, Singapore, and Canada together, even though the role itself is specifically labeled for the Americas region. That's Camunda's standard global pay-band format shared across postings — worth confirming directly with a recruiter which figure actually applies to an AMER-designated role like this one, rather than assuming the whole table is relevant to your application.

About Camunda

Camunda is an enterprise platform for agentic orchestration, helping organizations coordinate AI agents, people, and systems across complex business processes with built-in governance and human oversight. The company has been named to GP Bullhound's Top 100 Next Unicorn list, is Great Place to Work certified for 2025, was named a Visionary in the 2025 Gartner Magic Quadrant for Business Orchestration and Automation Technologies, and ranked 3rd in Flexa's 2026 Most Flexible Companies list.

What the Role Involves

  • Owning a portfolio of enterprise customers as their primary strategic partner, from onboarding through renewal
  • Driving retention and expansion by managing account health, risk, and growth opportunities alongside Sales
  • Leading structured customer conversations — onboarding sessions, success plan reviews, value and health check-ins — that translate Camunda's capabilities into business outcomes
  • Using usage, value, and health data to prioritize actions and make recommendations to customers and internal teams
  • Project managing cross-functional work with TAMs, Consulting, Product, and Support to unblock customers and keep programs moving
  • Contributing to the wider Customer Success practice by sharing learnings and helping refine playbooks and processes

Who Fits This Role

  • 6+ years in Customer Success, Strategic Account Management, or customer-facing consulting in B2B software, ideally with enterprise customers
  • Proven ability to build trust with senior and operational stakeholders and lead candid, outcome-focused conversations
  • Experience supporting or owning renewals and expansion in a recurring revenue model, including forecasting and risk/opportunity assessment
  • Ability to interpret customer data (adoption, health signals, value metrics) into clear priorities and next steps
  • Strong written and verbal communication, including leading meetings and aligning cross-functional teams in a remote-first environment

Nice to have: experience with customers in financial services, banking, insurance, or other regulated industries; background in orchestration, automation, or adjacent technical domains; hands-on familiarity with Salesforce, Gainsight, or similar CS platforms; and a track record of mentoring peers or shaping how a CS team operates.

Pay and Contract Details

  • Pay: Annual Total Target Cash ranges from $119,600 (US minimum, Standard market) to $192,800 (US maximum, Major market) — final offers depend on skills, experience, and location, and Camunda typically hires in the lower half of the range to leave room for growth
  • Equity: included via Camunda's Virtual Stock Option Plan (VSOP)
  • Contract type: Full-time, fully remote
  • Note for applicants outside listed markets: if based elsewhere, you'd be hired through Remote.com (Camunda's global employer partner), with a personalized Total Rewards Calculator provided after your first interview

Benefits

  • Work-from-anywhere flexibility, home office budget, co-working space support, and flexible time off
  • In-person connection through Annual Kickoff events, team offsites, and "Camundi Connection Budgets" for meetups
  • Locally tailored healthcare, Modern Health for global mental wellbeing, and a Live Well Lifestyle Spending Account (launching 2026, scaling to €1,000/year by 2027)
  • Retirement/pension plans with company contributions where applicable, plus life and disability insurance
  • Up to $1,000/€1,000/£1,000 per year for self-driven professional learning

A Note on Hiring Scams

Camunda explicitly warns that scammers sometimes impersonate the company during recruitment. Genuine Camunda contact will only come from an @camunda.com or @talent.camunda.com email address, and the company states it will never ask candidates for bank details, payments, or other sensitive financial information during hiring. Worth keeping in mind if you're job hunting broadly and get contacted about a "Camunda" role through another channel.

How to Apply

Camunda also notes it may use AI tools to help screen applications and during interviews, and that this is an existing (not newly created) vacancy.
